Kura in Nara

Sat down at 19:00, and they were sold out of nearly everything. They didn’t tell us this until we began to order, and were sold out of grilled chicken, fried chicken and cutlet. Then separately told us they were out of the mashed potato. Oh and the octopus. So basically all recommended dishesWe ordered the special of scallops, and after 20 minutes they delivered the news they only had 2 scallops for 4 of us. The livers (pictured) were fine, and chicken (pictured) was excellentOverall, hugely disappointing

Lovely family restaurant, highly recommend the beef and scallops specials. The salmon sashimi was lovely delicious. Fairly priced. Enjoyed the bar style dinning
